For Security and Compliance Teams
A vendor review that sits in the queue is a contract, a renewal or a go-live waiting on security. We take a defined piece of that work and hand it back finished, priced in writing before we start, working with your team directly or under a prime firm's contract.
Where the work piles up
Security and compliance teams rarely fall behind on the hard problems. They fall behind on the steady volume around them: reviews, questionnaires and documents that each take a few days and never stop arriving. Those are the pieces we take.
We read each vendor's questionnaire, SOC 2 report and contract against your requirements. Each review comes back written up with the gaps, any compensating controls and a recommended decision for your approver.
Customers and insurers ask before they sign or renew. We draft the answers from the evidence you hold, flag every answer the evidence does not support, and leave the sign-off with you.
A written information security program, an incident response plan with a tabletop exercise, an AI acceptable use policy. Each one describes how your organization actually runs, against the framework you report to.
An inventory of the AI tools staff already use, a use policy, and a permissions review before Copilot or Claude reads anything. Mapped to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework where you use it.
Frameworks we work against
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0
- NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- CIS Critical Security Controls
- HIPAA Security Rule
- FTC Safeguards Rule
- IRS Publication 4557
Three ways to engage us
On our master services agreement and a statement of work, or on your paper after review. The deliverable and the fee are written down before work starts.
Under a consulting firm, an IT provider or a prime contractor. The client relationship stays yours, and we put that in writing.
Corp-to-corp with Claremont Security LLC. We invoice the contracting firm, so nobody is added to your payroll.

What we do not do
- We do not issue formal sign-offs. Formal opinions belong to licensed firms. We perform assessments and write documentation your team can hand to whoever asks.
- We do not run penetration tests. If a test is in scope, we will tell you early so it can go to a firm that does them.
- We do not run a help desk or an around-the-clock response team. Our work runs on a defined business-hours cadence.
- We do not handle protected health information without a business associate agreement. It is signed before any access is granted.
- We do not take more than two engagements at once. If the calendar is full, we say so before you send the work.
Who this page is for
Our own clients are accounting, tax, law and advisory firms of ten to twenty-five staff. This page is for larger organizations, and for the firms that serve them, that want the same work done in a defined piece: vendor review, written programs and AI governance.
Send us what is waiting
Tell us what is in the queue: the vendors, the questionnaire or the policy. We will reply with whether we can take it, what it involves and when we can start.
